What we aim for
We build to be usable by as many people as possible. The aim is to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. That is a goal, not a statement that the website conforms.
What is built in
- Every page has one main heading and landmarks (header, main, navigation, footer).
- A “Skip to main content” link appears when you press Tab.
- All functions work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Text can be zoomed, and layouts adapt to small screens.
- Photos have text descriptions.
- Animations stop or reduce when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Forms have visible labels and clear error messages.
- The website works without JavaScript for reading and for using the call buttons.
What has not been done yet
- No independent audit or testing with assistive technology users has been done.
- We have not yet measured color contrast across every page with an automated tool in a live environment.
